Julie LetoskyIn 2022 Dr. Letosky was awarded a certificate in Veterinary acupuncture (CVAT) through the Canine Rehab Institute. Dr. Letosky has been a part of our Canine Rehabilitation team since its conception in 2011. She is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, earning her degree from the University of Tennessee in 2011, and she is a Certified Ultrasonographer with her certification from the University of Illinois Executive Veterinary Program. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wayne State University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Currently, Dr. Letosky is working closely with Ortho Pets, a leader in veterinary customizable orthotics and prosthetics, offering structural limb support and pain management to debilitated animals.
In addition to practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Letosky also enjoys golfing and birding. Her love of animals extends to her home life, where she has three pets: two cats named Radar and Shade, and a Boston Terrier named Tug. DVM, CCRP, CVAT, Certified UltrasonographerJodyJody started working in veterinary medicine in 1993. She started working with Avon Lake Animal Clinic as a receptionist in 1995. Since starting she has grown with the company. Jody acquired her RVT when she graduated from Cuyahoga Community College in 2004 and her CCRP (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner) certification from University of Tennessee in 2011. Throughout her career at UNR she has had an array of animals she has worked on. Everything from dogs and cats, to more exotic animals like skunks! She has her own family of animals and a son at home.DVM, CCRP, Certified UltrasonographerLoraLora has been working in the veterinary industry for over 25 years. She has worked in many departments including reception, assisting, and managing. She had been working in internal medicine specialty for 10 years prior to starting at Up and Running in August 2021. She has found her passion in canine rehab, hoping to pursue her CCVA (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assitant) in the near future. Currently, she has a rescue dog named Johnny and a former feral cat, the Monkey. Shelter animals and rescue has always been her passion, especially senior pets and feral cats. Her favorite part of rehab is being able to help so many senior pets every day. Lora volunteers her time and helps network for various animal rescue organizations, including lucky paws.DVM, CCRP, Certified UltrasonographerKatieKatie has been in Veterinary Medicine since 2015. She received her Associate of Applied Science from Cuyahoga Community College and RVT certification in 2016. She received her CCRVN (Certified Canine Rehab Veterinary Nurse) from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in early 2024. Her love of rehab started when she began bringing her three legged Pit Bull to Up and Running Canine Rehab. Katie will be pursuing her CCRVN (Certified Canine Rehab Veterinary Nurse) certification at the Canine Rehab Institute starting early in 2023. She is passionate about promoting a fear free environment for her patients and developing a bond with all the animals she works with. Her hobbies include fostering and promoting rescue animals, dog training, and spending time with her family outdoors!DVM, CCRP, Certified Ultrasonographer
