Class IV Low Level Laser TherapyDigital Empathy2019-04-16T09:53:39+00:00

Slide How it helps Up & Running Canine Rehabilitation offers Class IV Laser Therapy to all of our patients. Laser therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses light energy to repair tissues through photobiostimulation. The injured cells in the treated areas utilize the light energy of the laser to aid in healing. Laser therapy can be used to:
  • Reduce joint and muscle pain
  • Increase vascular supply
  • Decrease inflammation
  • Relax muscle spasms
  • Improve mobility
  • Help wound and incision healing

Slide The Treatment Laser therapy can be used alone or in combination with other therapies. It is ideal for patients suffering from arthritis, neurologic conditions, or those recovering from recent trauma or surgery. It does not interfere with any medications or other treatment options, making it available to all patients. Laser therapy is also effective in reducing bacterial counts and increasing blood flow to treated areas, helping wounds and incisions to heal. Results are often quick, with most pets showing improvement after a few treatments.
