Julie Letosky, DVM, CCRP, Certified Ultrasonographer
Dr. Letosky has been a part of our Canine Rehabilitation team since its conception in 2011. She is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, earning her degree from the University of Tennessee in 2011, and she is a Certified Ultrasonographer with her certification from the University of Illinois Executive Veterinary Program. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wayne State University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Currently, Dr. Letosky is working closely with Ortho Pets, a leader in veterinary customizable orthotics and prosthetics, offering structural limb support and pain management to debilitated animals.
In addition to practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Letosky also enjoys golfing and birding. Her love of animals extends to her home life, where she has three pets: two cats named Radar and Shade, and a Boston Terrier named Tug.
Kimberly Huppe, DVM, CCRP, CVA
Dr. Huppe has been a valuable member of the Up & Running Canine Rehabiliation team since it began in 2011. She brings to us special interests in physical rehabilitation, acupuncture, and pain management. She is dedicated to pursuing continuing education in her field. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Cornell University in 2003, her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University in 2007, completed a small animal rotating internship at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists from 2007-2008, her Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) from the University of Tennessee in 2011 and her Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) from IVAS in 2013.
Dr. Huppe is a lifetime member of the Phi Zeta Veterinary Honors Society and she earned the American Association of Feline Practitioners Recognition Award in 2007. She is also an active member of a number of prestigious veterinary groups including: International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture, AAHA, AVMA, AAFP, and American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians.
Originally from Boston, Dr. Huppe now resides in Avon Lake, OH with her husband and her two rescue cats, Callie and Scruffy. When she isn’t working, Dr. Huppe enjoys tending her garden, bird watching, cycling, hiking and reading a good book.
