Up & Running Canine Rehabilitation is dedicated to improving the quality of life of all our patients. We are staffed with three Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioners (CCRPs). Our veterinarians and licensed veterinary technician received their certification through the University of Tennessee, the country’s premier training program in veterinary physical rehabilitation. Dr. Kimberly Huppe is also a certified veterinary acupuncturist. Our CCRPs have extensive knowledge in creating rehabilitation programs for our patients. At Up & Running Canine Rehabilitation, we are relieving pain, improving recovery and maintaining mobility for our canine friends.
Our CCRPs will perform a comprehensive evaluation of your pet and will design a fully customized rehabilitation program to address their individual needs. Your pet’s rehabilitation plan may include specialized treatments such as therapeutic exercise, thermotherapy, hydrotherapy/underwater treadmill sessions, electrical stimulation, Class IV laser therapy and acupuncture. We are equipped to handle the most challenging of cases and offer both hospitalized/in-patient and outpatient programs. Our CCRPs can also help you create a home rehabilitation plan to improve the daily activities of your pet.
For our overweight patients, we offer nutritional consultations and weight management exercise programs. Obesity is a leading cause of arthritic pain and can predispose pets to other metabolic diseases. With weight reduction, pets are more active and have a happier lifestyle.
Up & Running Canine Rehabilitation also offers conditioning programs for athletic pets. This will ensure your pet stays in top shape for all of their sporting events.
